Ever since the last update, Samsung Email app is constently running in background.
I cannot turn it off, cannot force close.
Tried to restart the phone, uninstall then install the app... still the same.
Verision 6.1.91.13

It has been running jn background for 3 days now.
Any idea on how to solve this? It is getting really annoying.

Yes, I also noticed it. My concern is that it should not drain the battery.

Kindly follow these steps if you wish to Wipe cache partition, which can solve the issue:

Turn off the device.
Press and hold the Volume Up key and then press and hold the Power key .
When the Android logo displays, release all three keys.
An 'Installing system update' message will show for 30 - 60 seconds before the Android system recovery menu options appear.
Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
Press Power key to select.
Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
Press the Power key to restart the device.
