Exynos 2400 Mobile Processor:
Yong-In Park, President and Head of System LSI Business at Samsung Electronics, shared Samsung's vision for leadership in hyper-intelligent and hyper-connected technologies in his opening keynote. He emphasized the Exynos 2400, which incorporates the latest Xclipse 940 GPU based on AMD RDNA 3 architecture, offering impressive ray tracing capabilities for immersive gaming. The processor delivers a significant 1.7x boost in CPU performance and an astounding 14.7x improvement in AI performance compared to its predecessor.
According to earlier reports, the Exynos 2400 is rumored to feature a 10-core CPU configuration, including a high-performance Cortex-X4 core clocked at 3.1GHz, two Cortex-A720 cores at 2.9GHz, three Cortex-A720 cores at 2.6GHz, and four Cortex-A520 cores at 1.8GHz. Speculations also suggest compatibility with UFS 4.0 storage and LPDDR5X RAM with a substantial bandwidth of 8.5Gbps. Additionally, the chip is expected to include an integrated ISP (Image Signal Processor) capable of handling camera sensors up to 320MP and supporting 8K video recording at 60fps.
Zoom Anyplace Technology:
Samsung introduced the Zoom Anyplace technology, powered by a 200-million-pixel image sensor, enabling users to capture 4x close-ups of moving objects without image degradation. Furthermore, Samsung unveiled a new 5G modem, ISOCELL Vizion vision sensor, and a Smart Health processor.
The event also showcased other innovations, including the 200-megapixel ISOCELL HP2 image sensor, advanced driver assistance and autonomous driving camera solution (ISOCELL Auto 1H1), quantum-dot OLED display driver IC, IoT security solutions, and wireless-charging power management IC.
