As per your concern, we would request you to kindly perform the following steps to resolve your issue.
1. Go to Settings>>Display>>Adjust the brightness.
2. You can check the device in safe mode and for the same mode you can tap on the given link. https://www.samsung.com/in/support/mobile-devices/safe-mode-on-samsung-phones/
3. Update device software: Settings >> Software update >> Download and install.
4- You can reset your device by following the steps from the below link.

They will surely said you that you are only one who is facing this kind of problem, after update. So you have to pay the Screen replacement cost almost around 9k. But we are many people who have different kind of Screen problem after security update. So take some backup and then mail the Samsung CEO help desk with some photos, videos of the problem. Here are tons of reports and complain about m series screen problem but still they act like you are the only one who have this kind of problem. So welcome to the group...
