April security update

Hi, anyone has any idea on whether or not we are going to recieve the April security patch for S series devices?

All S series devices launched since 2021 will get the April update, including FE models.

Already rolled out to S24.

S23's update is delayed likely because of the fingerprint issue.

S22 and S21 will also get April update.

You mean to say you have already received the April security update? Hopefully they soon roll out to their predecessors as well.

Yes, S24 series received April update on March 26 (with camera improvements). Samsung recently started updating other devices. Update available for Fold5, Flip5, Tab S9, A53, A52, A13 in some regions. More devices will get it soon.

Ohk...And regarding the fingerprint issue update Samsung is not working on it and has held Google responsible for the same and Google is currently preparing for the fix so yeah I mean we might have to wait until that's sorted out.

Google will fix the touchscreen issue. Samsung is working on fingerprint issue.

I don't think Samsung have yet responded on fixing the fingerprint issue by themselves, separately. What's been said, is it's a temporary issue being fixed entirely by Google.

Not only that, there are many many more issues that they need to fix and on which they have not communicated yet anything on the same. God knows what are the updates on it.
