I purchased A52s even though A53 was available in market as it had way far better processor than A53 and equivalent to A73. This device was good and performance was mediocre but the moment I received July update, 2023 the device started acting weirdly. Phone started freezing and going into restart loop even though auto restart is not enabled.

I thought maybe in next update they will fix this issue but that was not enough for Samsung in August update the moisture detected error started popping up. I checked my phone's port cleaned it even got it cleaned at a retailer but that issue didn't went away untill I had to format my phone around 6-7 times. Samsung was not happy with this much issue so within a week my phone's **bleep** stopped working.

I left all the hopes that there's gonna be no fix now it's better to leave it the way it is but September's huge 1.4 GB security update gave me hopes but Samsung was not ready to end the nightmare here just after updating my device the very next day half of my display stopped responding. I tried to restart it but as expected it again went into restart loop.

I have repeatedly raised issues/errors to the support team but they just provide the prewritten solution which doesn't fixes anything at all. So, don't know how Samsung have hired their developer and tester, those who without checking the integrity & reliability of software they are pushing updates. Literally pathetic and now I feel that it's my biggest mistake getting into Samsung Environment.

Yeah i had this moisture problem after August update in my wife's A52S too when the protect battery feature was on. Once i turned it off, it never showed the warning. Never faced any issue with the display. Even though she drops the phone way too much, its still holding up well
