Samsung has released the Galaxy A14 5G, the successor to last year's Galaxy A13 5G, just ahead of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.
The new smartphone boasts a number of upgraded features, including a 6.6-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and the Exynos 1330 processor, replacing the MediaTek chip of the A13 5G.
The A14 5G also comes with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM, and offers storage options of 64GB or 128GB, which can be expanded by up to 1TB using a microSD card.
In terms of camera capabilities, the A14 5G features a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main camera and 2MP depth and macro cameras. The front camera has also been upgraded to a 13-megapixel sensor.
Galaxy A14 5G features a 5000mAh battery and supports 15W fast charging.
As the first Samsung phone to run Android 13 and One UI (Core) 5.0 out of the box, the A14 5G is eligible for two years of OS upgrades and four years of security updates.
The phone will be available in four colors: black, silver, dark red, and light green, and will go on sale in Europe starting in April at a starting price of 229 euros for the 4GB+64GB variant. Availability and pricing for other markets and configurations have not yet been announced.
