I bought my device (galaxy A34 5G) recently, Out of the box it was on One UI 5.1 and I could connect to VPNs and there were no connection issues. Ever since I upgraded to One UI 6.0 I can't access any networks after turning on my VPN. The only apps that seem to be working with the VPN turned on are opera and brave browser. Any other apps including Samsung Internet just show no internet connection can anybody explain what could've caused this.
I have tried different VPNs including Samsung max and nothing seems to be working. I have tried the same on my friends A54 and he is facing the same problem.
I contacted the help center twice but get the same pre written message to restart device or reset network settings.
I have tried all the solutions recommended by them already nothing seems to be working.
Can this be a software issue with the One UI 6.0?

Probably. The vpns need to be updated to handle android 14 networking.. wait for app updates or software updates. They might rectify your problems.

Yes, the software update didn't receive to the whole devices, We are working to expand the update to all the users sooner.

It appears that the latest Samsung UI 6.0 is not syncing with Android 14.  I’m even getting errors when attempting to look at Gallery - a Samsung app.  I keep getting “isn’t optimized for the latest version of Android.  Screen touches may be delayed or not recognized”.  I’m seeing where people are calling Samsung and not getting anywhere.  I really don’t understand why Samsung is taking the position that it’s the apps fault that Samsung created an OS system that isn’t working properly.  Was it not tested completely before released?  Also, why does Samsung not seem to care whether or not all the people who bought your phones are now pretty much crippled or at least severly inconvenienced as this message pops up ramdomly, not consistently, but often enough to be a major pain.  (Just to educate you about customers - angry customers will tell EVERYONE about bad customer service.)

Rest assured, as the VPN new update will fix the issue you are facing.

Update.
Got the January security patch and most of the VPNs have been updated and are working with other Android 14 devices. Whereas it's still showing no network or similar errors while I try to use it on a galaxy phone running the latest one u.i 6.0.
