Very Disappointed with Samsung for not making the ONE UI 3 & Android 11 not eligible for Galaxy S9 series and Note 9. I don't see any problem with that. It's unfair, since Apple gives their devices 5 major updates, for example: iPhone 6S got the iOS 14🙄.

dont be disappointed, remember that apple has one series of smartphones however samsung on the other hand has many series such as Note,S,A,M and each has his own frameware so for samsung its much of a challenge 😬🙄

yeah I understand, but S and Note phones are very important flagships, they should be treated better than this.

Samsung is "Samsung", so don't expect more that two - three max years of support. because they are releasing way too many devices

Dear valued customer

Thank you for contacting Samsung support

kindly note that Samsung guarantees Android OS upgrade three times only for Galaxy flagship products (S series, Note series, Z series) after Galaxy S10 series launched in 2019. Also, it need to consider the hardware specifications and resources appropriate for the upgrade.

as unfortunately , previous models, S9 and Note9, aren’t target models to be upgraded three times
