Using a phone has always been a delicate principle. You're in for a rude awakening if you think a phone can handle any mishandling.
I always would advise people not to use phones, especially expensive S series, when intoxicated or angry. Those are a few of many times when you don't realise the pressure you put on a phone, when dialling, holding and squeeze, etc.
Treat your phone as if there are no more in store. Maybe, only then would it last a lil' bit longer.
