Firstly try software update and see it could be a software glitch....
You can also try manually searching for network in settings>connections>mobile networks>network operators and see
If not then it could be one of the following
SIM card condition:
Inspect the SIM card for any scratches, bends, or other damage.
Clean the gold contacts on the SIM card with a soft cloth.
SIM card insertion:
Double-check that you've inserted the SIM card correctly into the tray, aligning the corners properly.
Ensure the tray is fully inserted into the phone.
Restart your phone: Sometimes a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.
Network issues:
Contact your service provider to check if your account is active.
Other potential issues:
Faulty SIM tray: If the SIM tray is damaged, it might not properly read the SIM card.
You might need to visit a service centre

Yes true.... it could be that it's carrier locked, but this can be unlocked by making a 20 minute phone call using that carrier seem then the device is unlocked for other sim card

Even if you update your software, only your location will detect the strengths of your network.
Your area is the one not ur phone.
Rain is a useless network for strengths
