Hey guys, to increase your privacy in terms of the edge panel, I'm not just gonna tell you how an edge panel works but I will show you how to make it more private.
1. Go to Settings and scroll down to "Display"
2. In display, scroll down to "Edge panels"
3. In Edge panels, tap "Handle"
Here is where you will be able to customize and make it more private since the focus is on that now.
4. Inside "handle" is where the action happens.
Look at the bottom of it and you will see the customization of the "Width" of the edge panel. This determines the thinkckness of it's appearance on the side of the phone. Customize it to "Thin" and this will make it disappear but still sensible.🔥
You can then choose where you would like it to be at, like it's position by adjusting the 2 arrows up and down on the side and that will be where the sensibility of the panel will be as you swipe there but this time, IT WILL BE INVISIBLE.🙏
And... as we all know that when we put apps in our edge panels they tend to still appear in the home screen.
Just make sure that AFTER ADDING APPS IN THE PANEL you then "hide" those apps in the homescreen as they will only be used when you access them from the panel🤭
Go to settings > home screen > hide apps on home screen
Just make sure that the apps you put in the edge panel, you hide them from the home screen.✅️
A person will just see you accessing apps without actually seeing them where they are in your phone.
