Galaxy Fit 3 Step Overcounting

I have been using the Galaxy Fit 3 and it counts steps when I'm driving, when i wash dishes. When i walk 20 steps it records 50+.I hardly walk 2 kilometers a day, it's mostly from my driving.Please advise.
