I understand your situation buddy, i thought the same. I do still have Note 9 and for the battery i barely see difference between both batteries!!Regarding the cache part, unfortunately I have no idea about it, however i hope it works!
In S25 Ultra I am facing the same issue after latest batch system update. No matter what you try to registering your fingerprint, you will still face the same issue unless they listen anf figure out the root cause and resolve it.
