Watch4 issues after recent updates

I selected to update the galaxy watch 4 on Friday 11 Feb22, but have the following isues since the update:
Samsung Health app not working. Not reading steps, can't access exercises, heart rate monitor, stress etc. All the above are frozen.
Exercise logs from previous day shows up when watch is rebooted, then goes back to 0 and then nothing happens.
Battery drains extremely fast
Now 45% after switching on 3hrs ago
Not sure what to do
Watch useless now with these issues

Hi, bob13 please note that many smartwatches don't start tracking steps or exercise until continuous movement is detected. Taking fewer than 10 continuous steps may not be enough for the smartwatch to detect the motion.

This normal behaviour can lead to exercise or step inaccuracies, especially if your exercise has been broken up into small chunks.

Because different people move in different ways, the information that is recorded by your smartwatch should be used as a guide only.

 

Kindly check to see if your smartwatch has the location turned on.

1. Press the home button on the watch.
2. Swipe down on the face of the watch.
3. Select the settings icon.
4. Select Location.
5. Select the switch next to 'On

Thanks for the response.
The location is set on.
None of the other health apps are working.
Heart rate
Body composition
Stress
These don't require movement or location. Stopped working after the update. Must be a bug
Keep getting vibrations - no notifications coming through.
Battery also draining very fast.
Will there be another update to fix these issues?

I've read that there are many others affected by the same issue, which started after their software upgrade. When will Samsung sort out these bugs?
