Watch keeps disconnecting from phone

I just got a galaxy watch 42mm however the watch keeps disconnecting from my phone. I have a Samsung S10. Does anyone have any tips for how to fix this? Its so frustrating

Hi  PRose7 

 

Kindly restart your smart watch.

To restart your Gear press and hold the Home button once and then tap Power off. Turn it back on after a few seconds.

Turn your device off for 20 seconds and then turn it back on.

 

Also reset your device and try connecting again through the wearable app:

 

 Please go to Settings>>Apps>> Tap on the 3 dots on the top right corner>>Show System Apps>> Samsung Wearable App >> Storage>> Clear Cache.

 

Then please perform a soft reset of your device.

Press and hold the power and volume down buttons for about 10 seconds.

*The device may take a screenshot, however keep holding the buttons for a few more seconds.
