Is delaying ecg update on watch active 2 a marketing strategy for galaxy watch 3 ? This is why apple's services seem worthy for the extra money paid. They gave the update for series 4 & 5 long back and its inbuilt on series 6.
ECG is a very critical health feature and it depends on the respective countries authority to allow weather that function is trustworthy enough to be allowed to use. Like in US you have FDA food drug authority which gives certification. So all countries have different rules and regulations and it takes time for a company to provide tons of data and take permission. Have patience and in sometimes it will come..... company must be trying from its side. YOU CAN SEE EVEN APPLE WATCH DOSENT HAVE ECG FUNCTION IN QUITE A NUMBER OF COUNTRIES.
I understand. I'm a Samsung fan, but apple rolled out the ecg update on watch 5 long back and when it comes to apple, it seems they dont have to wait too long for approvals. Most of their updates come globally.
I brought gwa2 from bahrain and it comes under Samsung UAE. Does latest announcement on ecg update in UAE mean it would also be available in Bahrain? Or do I have wait longer again?
