Wearables* Identify the cause: Go to Settings > Battery and device care > Battery to see which apps are consuming the most power.
* Optimize app usage:
* Force-close or uninstall problematic apps: If a specific app is draining the battery, you can try force-closing it or, if possible, uninstalling and reinstalling it.
* Put apps to sleep: There is an option for "Sleeping apps." This is a key feature. Go to Settings > Apps > Sleeping apps and add any apps you don't need running in the background to this list. This will prevent them from consuming power when not in use.
* Adjust watch settings:
* Screen brightness and timeout: Lowering the screen brightness and setting a shorter screen timeout can significantly save battery.
* Always On Display (AOD): Turning off AOD will prevent the screen from staying on all the time.
* Location services: Turn off GPS and location services when you don't need them.
* Wi-Fi and Bluetooth: Turn off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth when not in use.
* Heart rate monitoring: Change the heart rate measurement frequency from continuous to "every 10 minutes" or "manual" to save power.
* Software updates:
* Ensure your Galaxy Watch Ultra's software is up to date. Software updates often include battery optimizations and bug fixes. Go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
* Factory Reset:
* If all else fails, a factory reset can sometimes fix persistent software issues. Make sure to back up your data before doing this, as it will erase everything on the watch. Go to Settings > General > Reset.
For the specific "Alarm app" issue, you should first check if there are multiple alarms set or if a third-party alarm app is being used. Deleting unnecessary alarms or switching to the default Samsung alarm app could solve the problem.
