Watch 6 Classic Battery Drain Fix

Hi Members,

I’m using the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic and recently I’ve noticed the battery draining way faster than before. It used to last comfortably through the day (and sometimes more), but now it barely makes it or drops very quickly even with normal usage.

Was anyone else facing the same issue?

I tried wiping out the cache of the watch and it seemed to help. 💙

Yes , that helps.
Have you tried using AOD Vs not using AOD? How much difference does it make ?

I don't use AOD that much. So can't say for now 🙈

Regarding the increased battery consumption, please note that this may occur due to certain settings, background applications, or after software updates. We recommend following the steps below to help improve battery performance:

1. Restart the watch to close temporary background processes.
2. Ensure the watch software is updated via Galaxy Wearable > Watch settings > Watch software update.
3. Reduce or disable Always On Display if enabled.
4. Turn off GPS and Wi-Fi when not in use.
5. Check background running apps through battery settings in the Galaxy Wearable app.
6. Enable Power Saving Mode when needed.
7. If the issue persists, perform a factory reset after backing up your data.
