Those LTE watches have speakers inbuilt, means they act like standalone phone. You can use them as a phone to call someone even if you forgot your phone home or somewhere.
And on WIFI smartwatch you cannot call from the watch itself, the call will be routed through the phone. Everything else on both watches are same.
If this solved/helped with your query "Accept as solution" will be appreciated.

Thank you. I can make and receive call on both the models, only difference is with WiFi/Bluetooth model phone has to be within range, whereas with LTE model it is not required. I can use it with eSIM. Is my understanding correct?

Yes, On Wifi you will only get notification about call or Sms when your phone is connected to Smartwatch. on LTE, phone isn't required to stay connected. If this solved/helped with your query "Accept as solution" will be appreciated.

Just a quick query. Looking at buying Active 2 4G/LTE version. Does this means that i cannot pair and use thru Bluetooth? Reason is VI mobile operator is not providing eSIM for chennai circle currently.
