Issue Explanation – Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 (44mm)
Device: Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 (44mm)
Issue: Random / Automatic Restart after Software Update
After installing the latest One UI Watch / Wear OS update, the watch started restarting automatically at irregular intervals (sometimes after 10 minutes, sometimes after 20 minutes) without any user interaction.
Based on the system bug report analysis:
The device is repeatedly entering recovery mode without any hardware trigger.
Logs show repeated recovery-related events such as:
system recovery attempts
cache mounting
clearing boot control block (BCB)
There is no evidence of hardware failure, kernel panic, or battery malfunction in the logs.
Battery health appears normal and the issue is not load-dependent.
This behavior strongly indicates a firmware / software instability introduced after the recent update, possibly due to:
corrupted system cache
incomplete firmware synchronization
post-update recovery loop bug
The issue is reproducible even during idle usage, confirming it is not caused by apps or user activity.
🔧 Requested Action:
Firmware reinstallation / reflashing
Cache partition cleanup
Software rollback (if available)
Or device replacement if the firmware issue cannot be resolved
Conclusion:
This is a post-software-update firmware bug, not a physical or battery-related issue.
