Samsung Health app crashes

I have recently purchased a Samsung Fit : activity tracker 

And the Samsung Health app keeps crashing when I try to run it

Can you give me some ideas on how to troubleshoot or an alternative app ?

i have spoken to the tech support

we requested me to
force stop
clear cache
optimize
run security scan


and after all of this
the app still says access denied
so he suggested to make an app support request from help.content.samsung.com
