Hi - I bought the Aamsung Ear Buds+ AND the Huawei Freebuds to use with my Samsung S10, however none of them seem to be working with my phone in regards to sending voicenotes - (I have also tried both with new Huawei phone).
I can hear voicenotes, phone calls, music and everything else, but I have to talk into my phones microphone to send voicenotes. Its so odd and frustrating as no-one else I ask is having these issues with any make or model of earbuds/pods, etc.
Can anyone please help? Am I doing something wrong? Is there a specific setting that I need to activate? Please can anyone advise?
I've already tried upgrading my phone and the "health app" (which was apparently a suggested solution), I have restarted my phone, unpaired the earbuds and re-paired.... any other suggestions? Thanks!
till i know there is no way out....... even when you want to voice activate google assistant or do dictation on google keyboard or as you say voice note then you cant use the samsung buds. Its an drawback but we have to live with it.... untill samsung changes it..
Hello, i did some research about this a while ago, it's a whatsapp and Android and not a samsung related problem, the application/os developers have this disabled apparently. Voice calls would work fine using the mic, but not the voice notes, even if you are connected to a car BT system.
Yes, and that is the problem Im reporting! What is the point of using Ear Buds if you have to use the device mic to record a message?! How does it make sense that my Samsung Ear Bud+ works better with my iPhone than my actual Samsung S10?!!!! That so crazy to me! Samsung need to fix up! Its embarrassing.
