I have the OnePlus Nord and recently received my watch4 44m LTE variant, the thing is set up besides LTE. I have both Airtel Postpaid and Jio Prepaid. While connecting via Wear  app I get this error if I select airtel sim

error.jfif

And nothing prompts if I use the Jio connection.

Anyone else from India facing this issue?

Yes , Just insert the SIM in some Samsung phone ( Friends/Family ) , connect your watch via Wearable app to that phone and then try enabling. Other phones don't work

Try these below steps :
From what I understand for Indian customers of galaxy watch LTE:
1. Airtel SIM has to be postpaid.
2. For JlO pre/postpaid both OK
3. Airtel SIM activation only works from Samsung mobile.
4. JIO SIM activation now no longer works from Oneplus. Only LGv20 or Samsung phones
mobiles have to be used for SIM activation. Please keep your JIO profile email
ID and password handy.
5. After SIM activation, you can switch to your original mobile. Make sure you
take backup as switching mobiles resets the watch. You can restore settings
after switching back
6. Customer care at oneplus/jio/airtel are clueless.
