WearablesThe Galaxy Fit3 watch has a synchronization issue with the phone's step count data. When the watch is synced with the phone, the phone's step count data overrides the watch's data. This means that if a user exercises without their phone, the watch's step count data will be reset after the first synchronization with the phone. This is a significant flaw that renders the watch ineffective as a fitness tracker. For instance, if a user walks without their phone and the watch records 2,000 steps, upon reaching home and checking the phone, the step count will be 1,000. Subsequently, when the watch connects to the phone, it will erase the watch's data and display 1,000 steps. This issue appears to be a fundamental design flaw.

WearablesYou can try this :
Go to Settings → Apps → Samsung Health → tap Force stop → Storage → Clear Cache
Go to Settings → Apps → Galaxy Wearable → Storage → Clear cache
Restart watches and see if it helped
Turn off the permission for 'physical activity' in the Samsung Health app. This will disallowed the phone sensors to track movement for Samsung Health app.

WearablesThis worked for me so I've achieved synchronization of my Fit3 with Samsung Health app on my phone, but another issue appeared - for some reason Fit3 started multiplying the number of steps shown in the app by 2, so when say the app shows 10,000 steps, the band would show 20,000. Anyone else had this problem also? I wonder what's going on and how to fix this problem.

WearablesI have same problem. In my case number of steps on Fit3 was more then 16000, but Samsung Health release number to less then 400. Can some developers check where is the issue: Fit3 or Health?

WearablesI bought a Galaxy Fit3 6 days ago, and after the first 4 days this same issue has been happening to me. Gonna try the Samsung specialist's advice now, and see if it does anything for me.

WearablesI bought the watch for my grandma, and after she walks for hours, the step counter shows around 11 steps, which makes absolutely no sense!
Some days, it measures correctly, but most of the time, it doesn't.
We took the watch for repair at the Samsung store, and they replaced the watch.
But the new watch has the same problem...🙄
