I haven't used buds live but used buds+ for some time. I feel buds+ are better in terms of call and music quality as they offer better physical seal in ear. Also they are less likely to fall off. buds live are lighter ,smaller but much costlier. Buds live active noise cancellation is also not at all useful. I feel at 8500 buds+ are much better choice.
Well I use them for calls too (most of the time). You will notice that the volume is a lil low in too noisy environments. Otherwise in general or 95% of the times I have no issues with them.
