Galaxy watch 4 maps issue.

While tracking activity, watch tracks my location fine..

But for navigation using maps it is asking permission to connect to phone and map works through phone only. Is this an issue?

No it won't work...watch map navigation depends on phone map..

So the GPS in watch 4 is just for activities and not for maps navigation?
