The battery is draining fast in my galaxy watch 4. I need to charge it every 2 days. I want to know if this is common or an issue only with my device.

If you haven't done (at least within last 6 months), do a factory reset. Unlike phones, usually smart watch battery life decreases faster over time.

Thanks. I just bought it. One week old watch.

Okay, that needs 2-3 weeks to settle. Always on display and GPS can drain your battery faster. You can disable them from quick toggles when you don't need them.

If you are finding that your Galaxy Watch 4's battery is draining faster than expected, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

1. Check Battery Usage: Go to Settings > Battery > Battery Usage to see which apps or features are consuming the most battery. This can help identify any apps or processes that may be draining the battery excessively.

2. Restart Your Watch: Sometimes, a simple restart can help resolve battery drain issues by closing any background processes that may be causing the problem.

3. Update Software: Make sure your Galaxy Watch 4's software is up to date. Samsung occasionally releases software updates that can improve battery performance and address other issues.

4. Adjust Settings: Consider adjusting settings such as screen brightness, screen timeout, and Always-On Display settings to optimize battery life. Disabling features like Wi-Fi, GPS, and NFC when not in use can also help conserve battery.

5. Limit Notifications: Excessive notifications can contribute to battery drain. Consider disabling notifications for apps that you don't need immediate alerts from.

6. Check for Rogue Apps: Sometimes, third-party apps can cause battery drain issues. Try uninstalling recently installed apps to see if the battery life improves.

I am using Watch 4 since last 1.5 years.
It's Bluetooth 44mm variant.
I can confirm that with all tracking enabled (sleep, HR, Oxygen) , no AOD, no other battery saving , I get best 2 days and worst 1.5 days.

So your watch battery life is normal.
