Galaxy Watch overheating and battery drai

My galaxy watch has started overheating to an extent that the cover over sensors came off and the adhesive used melted (this is a very serious hazard). The battery now last for a mere 2 hours from a full charge

Is this a software issue or what - as I have noted complaints from other users

My Galaxy Watch is also overheating and does not want to charge normally. charges very slowly overnight. a couple of %.
