Galaxy Watch cannot connect to S9+/S7 edge

I had just bought a Galaxy Watch 46mm US version, but I cannot connect it to my s9+ nor my S7 edge.
Everytime I receive the message" download failed. Try again".
I did almost everything: reset the watch, uninstall and re-install Galaxy Wearable App, factory reset my s7 edge, creating another samsung account... . Till now I still cannot connect the watch to the phones.
Anything I can do to solve that issue? It's really frustrating because the watch was expensive and I am not able to use it with my Samsung phones. Should I move to another brand?

Hi, Did you tried to connect the watch to another mobile? if not then try to do that.. and is your device rooted?

Hi Safita! I finally got my watch connected to my phone. your advice lead me to the solution: after successfully connecting the watch to a friend's S6 Edge, I went to Settings And I saw that there was a Galaxy Watch Plugin that was installed. I downloaded the plugin via Sammobile and installed it on my S9+. Guess what? Bingo, my watch got connected. Thank you so much!

I tried on a friend s6 edge and it worked. I still cannot connect it on my 2 phones(s7 edge and s9 plus). my device is not rooted as far as I know. I have never tried to root it.
