No they are up for preorder at R4k for the 3 and R5k for the 3 Pro. Should be released from the 25th of this month.

And here I was hoping we would be spared the delay, but I'm glad it happened rather than suffer manufacturing defects.

Strangely, my pre-order is still showing shipment on the 25th of July. I gather they haven't updated their systems yet.

I have had a few communications back and forth with a sales agent. They cannot confirm whether we will receive the buds on or after the 30th of August. Their online platform still shows the shipment date as the 25th of July and the status as "in progress." So while Samsung is sitting comfortably here earning interest on the money we have paid, we are left wondering when we will receive our devices. Though I am sure their reputation and bottom line have been affected by this global recall. Three wise words when it comes to quality control: Checking is better.

DON'T BUY THIS!

I preordered this product and received it about a week ago. I was looking forward to it, so I was disappointed when I received them:


1. The sound is not good. 😒

2. They only come with the fitted pair of ear tips. There are no extra-sized tips! 😤

3. I can't get a good fit. 😫

4. They do not feel secure and feel as if they may fall out of my ears at any moment. 😱


They are definitely not suitable for use when you are at the gym or going for a run! I am very disappointed! 😡


The Buds2 Pro are far better! 👍
