bad luck. to the apple's credit apple pay is always on all phones and devices no regional nonsense. I have samsung pay but have issues reactivating one of my card, which works fine in samsung pay on my note 10+ and worked well on my previous watch. samsung has been no help and their samsung pay call center 2 levels below ENBD customer support team.
guess....it is the way it is. not designed correctly to be robust and easy to setup. regional locks and versions of Samsung pay bundled with some devices is a mistake and unnecessary complication.
