Buds plus lost

One of my buds got lost or stolen i tried tp locate it but no use then i reached service center where they said we will provide you  replacement then suddenly they said you have purchased it from outside of india and it may have some issues while without trying it they said.
I know galaxy smartphone and watches have lock on them due to samsung pay and knox but not buds it is only use is to play music and calls.
Technicians story doesn't sound like a fit here
What should i do next?
