I'm able to connect to the headphones and when I play music it says it's playing but nothing comes through the headset. This happens after UI6 update.

Watch 4 LTE

I have reset the Watch to factory settings, but this still happens after setting up the watch again.

I use the watch for running so it's become basically pointless. How can I solve this?

Are the headphones connecting well with other devices?

Yes they are, and they play music from other devices. The Watch connects fine to the devices but while it's playing music nothing comes through the headphones. How much does if the volume is zero (which it isnt)

I have tried a factory reset, but used a backup to restore the warch. I'm going to try a factory set again and start fresh. See if that dones anything.

Some older model headphones might not be compatible with newer model watches but no the less you try this

Open Music App: Open the music app on your watch (e.g., Spotify, Samsung Music).

Select Music: Choose the music you want to play.

Ensure Watch is Source: If you see a watch icon on the music player, tap it to ensure the watch is the music source.

Start Playing: Tap the play button.

Control Playback: Use the watch to control volume, skip tracks, and pause/play.

Thanks for this. But nothing comes out the headphones. The headphones make a sound when they connect to let me know that they are connected, but no Media plays through them. I checked the volume is up, and the media plays out the Watch speaker when I disconnect them.

I've tried on internal Media Player as well as Spotify.

I've just done another factory reset and started fresh, not from a backup. This fortunately also at the same issue.

I've tried with two different headphones the Sony xm4s and Apple airpods 3.

It's clearly a bug in UI6.
