I got a new Samsung galaxy watch active 2 (8471) Model SM-R820 and can not find a way to get the Blood Oxygen, Blood Pressure Measurement, and Blood glucose to work in the Samsung Health App. I see all three options in the Samsung Health App but They do not work and I can not add the function on the Model SM-R820 watch. I saw a video that says the Blood Pressure Measurement should be in the Samsung health Monitor. The only thing that is in this app is the ECG and it works!
Galaxy Watch Active 2 having identical hardware to Gear 3, technically it can measure SPO 2, as it use same sensors to measure Stress. But unfortunately Samsung never promised nor advertised Watch Active 2 with SPO2 capability. You will get everything except SPO2 in Watch Active 2.
Blood glucose isn't available in any of the galaxy watch. Samsung officially confirmed there wont be any Spo2 sensor in GWA2. However you can virtually sideload it by Installing the 2 applications on your phone
Steps 1. First Install the retail Mode 2. Then Install the Samsung Health Monitor. The Samsung Health Monitor app would automatically appear on your watch.
