BLUTOOH EARPHONE MIC NOT WORKING FOR WHATSAPP VOICE RECCORDING

I am using Samsung Note 9.

while sending WhatsApp audio messages when phone is connected to Bluetooth earphones it is using always phone' mic only.

but it working on WhatsApp calls an normal calls also.

if somebody know the solution pls help.

or if it is a problem from Samsung's side I request Samsung to fix it soon.

I think you are using a mono-bluetooth device. Just try this. Goto Settings > Accessibility > Hearing enhancements > Mono audio. Now forget your Bluetooth and restart both devices and connect again. If that doesn't work, you need to install a third party app 'BTmono'. It'll solve your problem. Thank you.

I've downloaded the app for the convenience of swithing bt mono on and off.

My cheap chinese helmet headset won't use microphone on whatsapp and some other apps, so this is a life changer for me.

As advised i tried in built settings, but it is not working.
Tried 2nd option (Bt Mono), it is working but same time it losses the quality of earphones while listening music so it is not a good alternative.

Currently i am using Apple Airpod.
If this is a mono Blutooh Device can u recommend a stereo one.

Hi there, WhatsApp will always record the voice notes through the phones mic even if a Bluetooth device is connected. It's not an issue.

Let say WhatsApp is only use phone Mic as mentioned.
But as i checked any apps not use Blutooth Device's mic even samsung reccorder app.

Yes, you are right. Recording voice with Bluetooth mic will work only in the Pro Video recording mode of Note 20 and other newer devices. Most of the apps won't record audio from Bluetooth devices.
As mohammedSijah mentioned, using BTmono is the only known solution.

While listening to the voice note when I put my phone against my ears the voice note is not shifting to the ear piece, I have bought a samsung Galaxy A32, was facing the same issue on my previous device which was Oppo F19, what should i do? Is there any solution for this?

Hi,

Kindly follow the below:

- Check the permissions on your device (A32) > Settings > Scroll down. Choose Apps > Choose an application, in this case, scroll down and choose WhatsApp > Choose Permissions > Check to allow all options.

- Clear Cache the App:

Settings > Apps / App Manager > WhatsApp > Storage > Clear Cache.

- Try to reconnect the headset again.

- Try to connect the headset on other device, and check if the same issue remains.

Otherwise, if the same issue occurs, we recommend you to contact the headset service provider.

Note: I checked out all the permissions and I tried my earphones on my brother phone (same phone) and it worked normally. I tried to clear cash as you said an no result I really need help with this issue please
