It's strange that S20 Ultra charging adapter comes with type-c connector on both ends whereas, Galaxy Buds+ comes with type-c at one end and type-A at other. How am I supposed to charge the case then? Reverse wireless charging via S20 U is slow. Its obvious that a person would not purchase a Samsung charging adapter just for charging the buds.

You can simply charge the Buds+ with S20 charging adapter and cable since both are USB Type C.

Can't. S20 adapter has USB type-C whereas buds+ cable has USB type-A on adapter end.

hmm.. I hope the battery of Buds+ doesn't get damaged because of using a different cable.
