Opening any whatsapp chat on vibrate mode sets off the vibration motor and doesn't stop. Stops only when whatsapl is cleared from open apps and vibration mode is turned off .

It's not a vibration but a humming from the speakers similar to phone ringing.
The problem is solved if you remove all the Bixby Routines that's active on your device.
The issue came back again after a restart. Hopefully it is fixed soon. It's very annoying.
