I am currently using One UI 8.5 beta on my Galaxy S24 FE and would like to share feedback regarding battery performance.
After the last charge, 75% battery was consumed in around 10 hours, with approximately 7 hours of screen-on time and 3 hours of screen-off time. The battery drain seems slightly higher than expected, especially during media consumption.
Most of the usage included apps like VLC (around 2 hours 40 minutes), JioHotstar, and Instagram. I noticed that battery drain is relatively fast while watching videos, even at normal brightness levels.
There is also a consistent background drain when the screen is off, which could be optimized further. The estimated battery remaining time appears slightly inaccurate at times.
Overall, battery backup is decent but not fully optimized in the current beta. I hope future updates improve battery efficiency, especially for video playback and standby performance.
