Add upto 2×2 widget adding function in edge panel

The edge panel has no option to add any widget in it. Just the apps. It would be better if we could add some scan and pay widgets from apps like paytm or phonepe.

Or we could add 2×1 calender widget or anything else.....at least option to add 1×1 widget
