We’re excited to introduce the new Storage Share feature, which allows you to easily share your storage among your Galaxy devices!

Hello, I’m the manager for the Storage Share feature.

I’d like to introduce Storage Share, a feature that lets you seamlessly use the storage of your devices (phone, tablet, computer, or TV) as one shared device.

If your devices (phone, tablet, computer, or TV) are signed in with the same Samsung account and are nearby, Storage Share lets you use storage across them without any cable connections or extra setup.

Feature details

Storage Share lets you use the storage across your phone, tablet, computer, and TV signed in with your Samsung account as if they were one device.

You can check images, videos, and documents stored on your connected devices without downloading them and also search, copy, paste, and use other functions directly from the device that you’re using.

[Accessing mobile device storage from a computer]

From the File Explorer on your computer, you can access the storage of your connected devices, such as your phone or tablet.

In this way, you can check and manage images, videos, and documents on your mobile device directly from your computer.

How to use

① Open File Explorer → ② Select a mobile device (phone or tablet) on the left menu → ③ Access the storage

※ You can access the storage on a mobile device from a computer when the following conditions are met.
(Computer: Galaxy Book3 or higher, Storage Share app v1.2.x or higher, mobile device: One UI 7.0 or higher)

[Accessing mobile device storage from a TV]

From the Connected device menu on your TV, you can check the videos and images of your mobile device.

How to use

 ①Open Connected device on the TV home screen → ② Select a connected mobile device → ③ View videos/images

※ You can access the storage on a mobile device from your TV when the following conditions are met.
(TV: products produced in 2025 or later (some products manufactured in 2023 or 2024), mobile device: One UI 7.0 or higher)
