On Samsung phones, the Notification History feature is a practical solution for the problem of accidentally deleting notifications. This feature allows you to view the most recent notifications exactly as they appeared, even after they have been closed, helping you avoid missing any important alerts.
Why is it useful?
- Recover notifications accidentally closed
- Review important alerts such as messages or system updates
- Ensure no important notification is lost
How to enable:
- Go to Settings and select Notifications
- Tap on Advanced Settings
- Enter Notification History
- Enable the toggle
After enabling, your phone will start saving notifications so you can view them later.
Important Notes:
- Nothing will appear in the history until the feature is enabled and new notifications are received
- Notifications are displayed exactly as they arrived, with the same format and content
- The feature is hidden within advanced settings and is not always enabled by default
