I have a problem with Samsung.
And that is that it provides only 2 years of Samsung UI update. And I hate it. Apple provides 7 years of UI updates and iPhone 7 also has the latest iOS. But Samsung? They give only 2 years? Why? Does it wants the user to get frustrated of the old Uis and upgrade to new phones?

Are you talking about budget phones?
Flagships are now getting 4 years updates.and some mid range 3 years.

This might be because of the cost and the number of devices released. Samsung releases a wide range of devices with different budgets and features (hardware + software) to cater to various customer needs. Apple releases fewer devices with high budget needs. So they can maintain devices for longer duration. Also apple uses its proprietary chipset. Samsung uses Snapdragon many times which has limited years of sourcecode updates.

So why didnt you buy apple devices if you knew you your requirements for longer update support?

Agreed 👍🏻 That's why Samsung is trying to make Exynos perform better so that they can make Exynos mainstream and use Snapdragon, MediaTek in less devices
