What is this Ram plus update?

I seen many posts about ram plus update. What is this exactly? Also is there any use of higher ram with less software optimization?

It's like DYNAMIC RAM EXPANSION, you use ROM like a RAM .

In Samsung it's called as a RAM+ that's it utilise that feature by extending RAM in your device

It will use some of your internal storage, and use it as RAM.
For example, it can use 4 GB storage as RAM, and you will get 4 GB extra RAM !!
