Dark mode is a feature in some smartphones which make phone's theme darker.
So Why dark mode?
According to smartphone usage statistics on an average, People spend about 3 hours or more on their smartphone.So using smartphones for long periods with high brightness in day or night may cause eye strain and may also drain battery quickly.
So what's the advantage in using DARK MODE in SAMSUNG'S phone ?
Most of the SAMSUNG'S Phone provide AMOLED display.
WHAT IS AN AMOLED?
Active matrix organic light emitting diode which means these type of displays have self emitting diodes which have quicker reaction speeds and deliver high contrast level and produce more clearer display.
For example if you are viewing a black background image on an AMOLED display the black part don't light up i.e)Pixels are off that means you may able to notice deeper blacks. Also AMOLED display reduces blue light emission which may reduce eye strain also save battey from quick discharge.
What is LCD?
Liquid crystal display.
Compared to AMOLED they don't self emit.So LCD don't have deeper blacks compared to AMOLED.
So, Its understood from the above information that DARK MODE with AMOLED display will have more advantages over DARK MODE in LCD display.
