When did the Brave browser have a security breach when? Mind sharing a valid article link to support your claim?

What's wrong with Firefox? Apart from site isolation (which can be done through hardening), it offers as much security as Chromium. When you pair it with UBO, it offers unmatched security.

Dude, I am in my thirties and work at an MNC that deals in software and cloud solutions. I am past the flashing era. I was scrolling through the Members app and came across your post and thought of sharing my knowledge on security. You don't have to go defensive for calling out a billion dollar company that can make enterprise level security like Knoxx but can't fix the security issues on their browser. Samsung does not care if you take their side or not.

Although you are right in your POV.
But to my POV, I think that-
To be safe everyone should follow some rules:
1. CHOOSE A SAFE LOCALITY FOR YOUR HOUSE WHERE EVERYONE/EVERYTHING IS RISK FREE.
2. DON'T ENGAGE YOURSELF WITH DANGEROUS/BAD THINGS.
3. YOUR ACTIONS ARE THE MAIN REASON OF THE CONSEQUENCES THAT YOU FACE.
4. IF YOU CHOOSE A RISKY LOCALITY (i.e. visit risky websites)- YOUR HOUSE WILL BE BROKE SOMEDAY, SO JUST CHOOSE A SAFE LOCALITY - IF YOU CHOOSE GOOD ENOUGH - YOU WILL NEVER NEED ANY LOCK OR PROTECTION FOR YOUR HOUSE, CZ IT'S ALREADY IN A GOOD NEIGHBOURHOOD.1746419823941.jpg

There are many ways cyber criminals can get access to your device. You don't need to visit any "weird" or "risky" website for that. Web spoofing, DND spoofing, session hijacking, SQL injection, Drive by download etc. If your browser is outdated, it gives enough time for the hijackers to find loopholes and vulnerabilities. This is why Google constantly releases new security patches. Sure Google Chrome is also prone to cyber attack, but they are quick to patch the loopholes quickly unlike Samsung which takes ages to update the Chromium version and leave the users on their own. I know when you use something for a long time, you get attached to it. But just because you use something and believe it to be safe, doesn't mean it's safe. Samsung internet browser may look like a fancy good browser but there any many underlining security flaws which your "Stop apps from opening the internet" can't prevent. That's all from my side. Whether you use an outdated, insecure browser is up to you. I am just a nobody gave my two cents on the security flaws of Samsung Internet browser.

How funny!
Why do people thinks Internet is all heaven & update == Secured😂!
If a real hacker want to **bleep** you he/she will eventually do that. Even Presidents of some countries (With all protection of all it's White hat Hacker, Cyber expects are getting hacks by Pegasus like softwares). And I don't think your chromium based UPDATED software is capable of what that the president's browser can't 😂.

- Normal people like us has a possibility of being hacked by low-level (Chindi, sadakchap) hackers .. and to deal with them Normal updated Internet Browsers are enough.

You surely don't have any idea how security works. Software such as Pegasus do not get installed through browsers. They get installed through text messages and emails and those are targeted attacks, not mass attacks. In order to execute mass attacks, hackers need loopholes on a software that is used by millions of people. This is why software developers constantly update the security protocols on their software to make it harder for hackers to find exploits. Yes they still get attacked, but it makes much more sense to use an updated software rather than a software that hardly pays attention to the underlying security. As long as Samsung uses Chromium as the base of their browser, they need to patch their browser as soon as Google releases a Chromium update.
