Tech TalkHi there,
To resolve the issue please follow the below mentioned steps:
1. Perform ‘Reset app preference’(Scroll down notification panel> Setting> Apps> Tap on 3 dots (Upper right corner)> Reset app )
2. Check the internal storage of the device and clean it (Setting> Device Care>Storage> clean now)
3. Force stop the Google App (Setting> Apps> select the particular app>Force stop)
4. Perform reset setting (Setting> General Management> Reset>Reset setting)
5. Reset the device (Setting> General Management> Reset>Factory reset).Before performing factory reset, kindly create the data backup through Smart Switch PC suite or Smart switch mobile app.
For further assistance, register your concern in Samsung members app(Open Samsung members app>click on “+“icon>send feedback>Error report/ Ask Questions).

Tech TalkThe resolution provided is complete nonsense, you are asking me to make factory reset the device and start fresh to cope up with your existing UI issue. Without any troubleshooting and to back up the data through Smart Switch app. Do you really think that is relevant enough to go through all these wholesome process and find out to be the same result again? As I see I am not the only person who is facing this issue. Are you guys really going to provide this generic step to reset the device for every issue we face with this despicable UI? UNACCEPTABLE.
