As of this writing, Samsung maintains a relatively high level of secrecy around its Galaxy Watch 5 series launch plans. Official pricing details are unknown, but Samsung should unveil the next-gen smartwatches on August 10, and at least one retailer appears to have already listed the wearables online. Better yet, these listings suggest that the Galaxy Watch 5 might hit the market at a lower launch price than the Galaxy Watch 4.

According to the online listing (via DealInTech), the 40mm Galaxy Watch 5 with Bluetooth connectivity will cost €259.98. The Bluetooth-only 44mm model is listed alongside a €286.90 price.

In contrast, the smallest version of the Galaxy Watch 4 was released in Europe for €269, while the 44mm model was announced for €299. If the new bits of information are accurate, then the Galaxy Watch 5 might be around ~€10 cheaper at launch than its predecessor.

Galaxy Watch 5 price rumors are getting confusing

Samsung has apparently shelved its Galaxy Watch Classic formula and will release a Pro model in its place. According to the online retailer’s listing, the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro has a €430.89 price tag.

The 46mm Galaxy Watch 4 Classic was released for €399. Perhaps the lack of a physical rotating bezel will allow Samsung to drop the price of the Pro model by a considerable amount. Keep in mind that these online retailer listings aren’t always precise but can paint a general picture of what to expect.
