I have S20FE 5G. I am facing display issue. It goes blank and nothing works. However whenever I touch display, it vibrates. I then force restart with keys, but it do not work everytime. I visited service center and they said that it's display issue. Many other users facing this issue. I searched and found on #samsung members app that many users are facing the same issue. Service center was first accepting the replacement under warranty, but then denied as there is a dent on my handset. The dent is very old and I am facing the issue from last 1 week only.

Now, even samsung knows it's their faulty product, they are making excuses to replace it on chargeable basis on the name of silly policy. Even I agree that if the issue is because of damage, customer have to pay for it, but when it's Cleary known to the Samsung that issue is because of faulty display, it's called looting by denying their fault and asking money. 

It's shameful strategy to produce faulty products and ask money for under warranty products by giving illogical excuses.

Did you buy the phone during Diwali sales? Many s20fe phones sold during that time had this issue.

No. I didn't. Regular buy and from Samsung authorized shop.

So it's almost a year. I am afraid one of my friends bought during the same time. Hey, I guess you should file a case at consumer court. It can be easily proved that the dent is not the cause of this display issue because many other users faced the same issue without even a scratch on their phones. This is clearly a manufacturing defect.

Yes. It's manufacturing defect only. The dent is very old and issue is from last 1 week. Even service center guy said it's display issue and will be replaced under warranty. But then he saw dent and denied. My point is, when Samsung also already knows that it's manufacturing defect then how can they deny on illogical policy basis. It's called fraud.

Yes, this is unacceptable but you only have a couple of ways to move forward in this case.
1)send a mail to Samsung ceo and wait for a favorable outcome.(https://www.samsung.com/in/support/email-the-ceo/)

2)file a case at consumer court against the brand for denial of warranty in case of a manufacturing defect.
