S20 Plus screen recorder with sound

Why sound is not getting captured when i do screen recorder? Is there any specific settings or options available?

It asks every time to record audio or not, and also the source of audio.

Check if you enabled audio or not.

Also, check you have given all necessary permissions.

I selected media sound but stil it doesnt capture the conversation we had during our whatsapp group video call

In that case, you should have selected Media Sounds with Mic.

Media Sounds is for any media being played on phone and sounds generated by phone (eg. in browser, fb, etc.)

Media Sounds with Mic captures media sounds from phone and from mic, i.e. sounds from your surrounding (outside phone).

You need to choose what you want it to capture with the screen recorder no sound, media sound or sound and mic
You need to click on what you want then it will work
