READ THIS BEFORE BUYING M30s/other Samsung devices

Hello friends ! I am trying to provide much details about this device.

COMMUNICATION DETAILS
Call sound quality is amazing. Even on 2G network you can hear clearly. Call Sound for parties on other side is good too. In loudspeaker mode sound is also good. Overall no tension about call sound (Please note I am not talking about multimedia sound).

Now network, Even a single Samsung device after paying high price cannot receive better network. Yeah, Exynos is the poorest chipset in the market in terms of network reception. Some people say this is because Samsung's devices have good SAR value and due to this reason network fluctuations occur but I don't think so. Other company's phones having good SAR value receive better network compared to Samsung.

If you want career aggregation/4g+/LTE+ then forget this device. There is no career aggregation in this device. Career aggregation may or may not be available through OTA update. We don't know. It depends upon Samsung wish (we are just slaves of companies now).

Very slow internet speed because there is always network fluctuation as well as processor is not capable in providing better internet speed. I think exyons 9611 is neither good in downloading nor uploading.

UTILITY DETAILS
Native File manager has no cloud option (they removed this option especially for m30s. Hahaha)

No Bixby home support.

No internet speed meter

No shortcut to take screenshot (please don't teach me about using one hand+ option. You should check Asus phones for screenshot easeness)

SECURITY DETAILS
Now security (main reason for which you prefer samsung over chinese handsets and ready to pay high price). There is no proper implementation of knox security in this device. Samsung is making confusion about knox availability in this device. If you want to check knox is supported or not then visit https://www.samsungknox.com/en/knox-platform/supported-devices .
You can see there is no availability of knox on this device. Day by Day Samsung is demanding high price but giving less return. I had J5 which is much secured than M30s. J5 has Knox support and it is listed on website too.

Most good apps released by samsung do not work on this device. It looks like we are holding other brand's phone just named as Samsung. I tried too many good apps but except one or two none worked on this phone. As I said Samsung is just making profit and give nothing for prices we pay.

Now secure transaction, There is no samsung pay support or Samsung pay mini support even after paying 13999. This is a joke and Samsung is fooling us.

HARDWARE DETAILS
Fingerprint is poor in performance. Perform as average. Takes too much time and mostly asks for entire fingerprint coverage. I used other phones which open quickly on putting finger. I used honor play which has better fingerprint response.

Camera is above average in daylight but poor in low light. Read other's reviews for camera. I am not interested in this useless thing. I use dedicated cameras.

Battery may be better but due to continued network fluctuations battery is good (or you can say poor). If you are on 2g network (which fluctuates very less ) you will get awesome backup.It is too good for standby mode. But in case of 3g/4g it is average.

Touch and display, I don't know why Samsung is promoting SAMOLED.. Really, old phones of Samsung are having amazing AMOLED. But in m30s it looks like it is not SAMOLED. It feels like plastic display not glassy. There is no much difference in display of m30s and other brand's phone (redmi,Vivo,oppo etc.). If I talk about touch then I can say it is not as responsive as an AMOLED display should be . I am getting typo. Not occasionally but very much and frequently I face typo. Typing is really too hard in this phone. You can easily feel that it is a cheap and poor phone while typing.

Sound and Speakers, not crysp and clear. Just loud and making noise. There is not a good combination of bass and treble. I used very cheap mobile "redmi 4" and "Motorola e". Both had great sound in new condition. But this is horrible in terms of sound. Even I played 320kbps and FLAC files. But response is same. In earphone it is flat. Dolby atoms in this phone is just as an option. There is no noticeable difference in sound if you on/off Dolby. Again a joke by Samsung. This phone is nothing if you are music lover.

Storage is not UFS. I checked the speed of storage and it comes under 500 mbps. I checked my honour play storage speed and it comes out nearly 800 mbps. I request to paid YouTubers to stop barking. It is not UFS.

Charger and charging, it's charging time is 80 to 100 minutes in my case. I don't know what is this ? Quick or slow or average or fast or blah blah blah. In short it takes too much time which matters in day but does not matter in night for me. Hahaha. Price cut means no earphone, tiny charging cable (very hard to use while , no glass or back cover in box

In the box there is no earphone. And charging cable is a joke (never seen such super tiny charging cable. It looks like Samsung company has no money and going to be bankrupt soon).


ADVANTAGES

You can say this is a brand (satisfy yourself by fooling yourself in the name of brand.)

2 SIMs plus 1 card (Common in all phones)

6000 MAh battery (I don't know whether it is true or false. You can sell anything in India by fooling people)

One UI (Really great UI. Samsung should provide universal options for almost all device. One UI has many variations from device to device in same price range which is not good).

Some apps like samsung keyboard, clock, calender, voice recorder are good.


If you are planning to buy you can go. But if you have used Samsung phones in the past you will hate this phone.

Now Samsung's approach is purely profit motive and spoiling its old goodwill for which we customer trusted in this brand.

don't say this. I am not a fan of any phone. I am talking about value for money. I think samsung is Mi fan. Samsung is going to handover budget phone making section to Xiaomi. People are decent but companies are not. They try to make profit, it does not matter what affect people's lifestyle. So don't call me fan. Better to call yourself a Samsung fan boy.

I compared Samsung's preset policy and past policies. Buying or not buying is your own choice. I just compared my old Samsung phones with new ones. And this is because Samsung is following others just for making and covering market rather than keeping and holding old customers by providing values.

Appreciate the honest review, but this is what all smartphone companies do nowadays. They first give you a taste of certain features and when you get used to it, they start charging a premium. In the end it's the customer who has to stay smart and do the research so that they don't get tricked into buying a piece of crap.

And I agree in India, you can fool almost anyone by increasing the megapixels and people will blindly buy it.

Also, Samsung named a 7 series chipset as exynos 9611 that's literally an upgrade to the exynos 7904.

Yeah, agreed. This is the reason I am saying no one is brand now. All are targeting profit making by fooling us. Never expected such a bad quality from Samsung.
